It all began in January 2014 just after my son was born. When he was only two months old I was tired, and not just a little tired but exhaused so I went to see my doctor. He ran some blood tests and the results were shocking. It seemed I had got Hasimoto’s. Hasimoto’s is a slow working thyroid disease. My body was attacking it’s own thyroid tissue.
I was familiar with autoimmune disease but now it had happened to me and I couldn’t bare the idea of my body attackting itself. It just didn’t make sense. Why would my body do something like this? Isn’t a body supposed to heal instead of attacking itself? What could have caused this? How could I minimize the effects of Hasimoto’s in the future? With these questions unanswered, my real journey started.
Since then I’ve been reading, studying and doing my own trial and error research on myself.
Today, four years later, I am ready to share all I have learned with you. I hope I can inspire you to start your own process and help you to begin changing your own health and the future of your loved ones. There is so much to tell and there is so much more than what we’ve been told.
